Metro Fire was dispatched to a house fire in Rancho Cordova this past Thursday. Fire crews arrived to find a well-involved fire in the garage, which had spread to the attic and the main part of the house. A coordinated effort between the engine and truck companies allowed them to contain the fire quickly. However, the wind made this situation more challenging, as it contributed to the fire spreading into the home. Fortunately, the homeowner was inside when the fire started and was able to escape
