This drone footage reveals the much-anticipated Zayed National Museum by British studio Foster Partners in Abu Dhabi have been released ahead of its planned opening. Currently under construction as part of the Saadiyat Cultural District on Saadiyat Island, plans for the long-awaited museum were officially unveiled in 2010. This year's Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Bangladeshi architect Marina Tabassum, hosted a day of spoken word, dance and music as part of Serpentine’s summer family day event. Arthur Mamou-Mani's Harmonic Tides installation has been unveiled at Clerkenwell Design Week. The 3D-printed structure, made from sugar-based PLA, forms a glowing "water corridor" beneath the arches of St John's Gate, animated by responsive lighting and sound. Harmonic Tides was the winning entry of the Shaping Water competition, organised by Dezeen in collaboration with Villeroy & Boch and Ideal Standard. Bethel Woods Art and Architecture Festival hosted its fourth edition called BuildFest 2: Peace Rises on the historic grounds of the 1969 Woodstock festival in Bethel, New York. The five-day festival hosted over 150 students and faculty from across the US, UK and Canada to live and work on site, building large-scale timber installations.
