This is a 1-1/8" Super Swaged wire rope, so it's very stiff and tough. Our logging customers use this kind of wire rope all the time, often with a specialty "Three-Tuck Flemish" eye splice. We start with a typical flemish (Molly Hogan) eye treatment, but with a super long tail, and then the tails are woven in a pattern to lock the splice in place without additional bindings, such as a traditional swage sleeve.
