When you write a song in the MIDDLE of the grief….it’s raw and it feels deeply deeply vulnerable to send it out into the wild. I still cry every time I hear it. The week before it was scheduled to be released , I was a wreck. I was hit with waves of memories and the deep sadness that still lingers in the wake of losing someone you love. I literally wanted to cancel releasing this song….to take it down…to erase it off the record. It just felt too tender. Feeling completely vulnerable and worried
