How Egyptian Hieroglyphs Influenced Modern Alphabets

Made over 4200 years ago, this cup is attributed to the 6th Dynasty of Egypt’s Old Kingdom, during the reign of Pepi II. It is made of travertine (Egyptian alabaster) and features hieroglyphs on one side.
