For up to 14 hours a day, Foxx couldn’t see anything, which caused severe claustrophobia at first. The crew often had to guide him around the set, and he occasionally bumped into furniture while staying in character. To perfect Ray’s movements, Foxx also practiced piano for six months, eventually playing most o
